It's so hard to believe that 1 year has gone by already.  You will never know how many tears have been shed for you, you  were such a beautiful person inside and out.  I know  your love for Eric was true just by the conversations we had and I know he misses you alot.  This has been a hard year for all of your loved ones and we will never understand why things happened the way they did, but I just hope that your loss can save someone else from the pain.  You're loved and missed each and every day. Karen I am so sorry for they loss of your beautiful daughter-in-law.  I can only imagine the feelings Eric has had to deal with.  I'm sure Amy's soul is at peace now and she is free of the anguish she suffered in this life.  Unfortunately we, know that knowledge is not always enough to help us much.  One step at a time is how we'll all make it. Happy Anniversary sweet angel. As I sit here typing I can't help but think what this past year would have been like with you here. Eric misses you so much as do all of us. I took your cake out of the freezer tuesday and i cried for hours. You and Eric should have been eating that cake tonight celebrating instead I let the cake sit on the counter for hours after calling Eric and asking him what to do with it. Finally we decided to discard it. I took a picture of it . Don't really know why I did that but I guess it was my way of copeing with things you know as well as anyone who knows me I can be weird at times lol the boys would have said I had an "Amy moment" . You rest in peace my Angel and watch over Eric today help guide him to have a peaceful day. Forever in my heart , Love you always.

I have been having a few bad weeks missing you and my dad soooo much . I bet you and dad are having a long conversation about anything and everything. I know ya'll hit it off immediately. I love you both so much and am missing ya'll so much .Time has passed so quickly almost a year has passed since you have gone and over 2 years since dad has passed on. I know that ya'll are in no more pain and for that I am thankful. Love and miss you both so much .

When the healing does not come!

 

When the healing does not come what do we do?

We take each day a minute, a second at a time…

Still the healing does not come.

 

We pray for the strength to make it through another day..

At the end of the day we thank God for helping us..

But ask him why ….why does each day hurt …

Why does each day bring new feelings of sorrow…

Why , why , why,so many why’s so many questions…

What could have been , why have they gone..

Why did God take them from us when we were not prepared..

Not prepared , never prepared for the one’s we love to pass..

Pass on to the great unknown… no matter how they go …

We always wonder why them …why anyone..

Why can’t we stay here loving each other indefinitely.

 

When the healing doesn’t come we pray for answer’s..

Although we may never get the answer’s,

Or we may never get the answer’s we want..

We still have our faith that the good Lord has

A plan for our loved one.. One beyond our comprehension.

 

We as survivors take things one day, one minute, one second

At a time and pray for guidance to do unto others

 as we would have them do unto us

 

 

Honor your loved ones by doing your best to be the best

Person you can be… treat others kindly

Remember others have feelings too!

I am thinking of you alot today. Finding it very hard not to cry. I am unsuccessful. I miss you and your sweet silly ways. Please help everyone to put their pain at ease and help each other through this time. It is too late to change what happened but we should be able to learn from it. To love each other and not torture and blame ourselves or one another for your leaving us. I will never forget you and all of the times we were able to talk and spend time together. Amy I have been missing you so much . I have been thinking about you alot lately.. It's hard to believe that you have been gone over 7 months. It seems like only yesterday that you were here visiting , playing ball with the boys in the back yard. I miss you calling me mom. I miss your lovely smile, your laughter, your sense of humor, your endless energy. You made everyone's day 100% better just by walking into a room and smiling. I was going through the pictures of your bridal shower and had to chuckle at the picture when you finally after fighting to cut a slice off of the cake that it was a fake cake then you licking your fingers and the look on your face when you tasted the icing which was a combination of crisco, corn starch, & baking soda was priceless. Only wish you were here to make good on that promise you made to me about getting me back for that practical joke. You are missed and loved by all who knew you.
