This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Amy Lynn Melerine Vice who was born in Louisiana on July 07, 1983 and passed away on May 25, 2005 at the age of 21. We will remember her forever.  She was attending ULL College to get a Degree in Criminal Law, she was on the deans list. Bright, beautiful, loving, and kind hearted. Always smiling those Daisy smiles. She married my son Eric on April 1st, 2005. She was my daughter-in-law for a short time but I will have a lifetime of memories of her beauty and smiles. She is watching over all of us now our gaurdian angel.........love and miss you soooooo much

I have noticed that many of you who have posted condolences have asked how Amy died. Amy died from suicide by hanging. She was never diagnosed but we belive she may have been bi-polar. I would like to ask anyone who comes across this site to please get help for anyone you may know that is suicidal. I know Amy thought she had no other option... what she failed to realize is the devestation that she left us with. All of the unanswered questions that we have that will never be answered. If only we knew how truely depressed she was we would have tried much harder to get her help. She covered up her feelings very well by that beautiful smile that she always wore. I ask that you all take a moment out of your busy lives and tell the people you love just how much they mean to you.

Most people think I am sweet and others well lets just say they dont quite agree. I am very outspoken...sometimes too outspoken...but hell I say why hold anything back. I have an identical twin sister...the only bad about that is I have to be nice to random people who come talk to me because they dont know I am not her. I hate liars the most and never put up with them...I believe in one strike and you are out. I live to laugh but never have the time to enjoy it. I am very responsible...which really aggravates me most of the time. I am never shy and never get embarrassed...and with friends like mine those qualities come in handy. I have the worst memory in the world...or at least that is what they tell me. I dont understand how I forget things I need or want to remember and remember the things I dont care to. I believe that lovers must be friends first. I have a great husband...we have been friends since we were freshmen...he says that we were friends in third grade...you expect me to remember that!!! I am the typical girlfriend who spoils her boyfriends...and who is way too nice...well unless of course you pisses me off"
